Pants Project

So for school we just finished our pants assignment, where we had to completely pattern and assemble a pair of pants from scratch. The main goal was to learn how to use a patterning program called Optitex, but I prefer flat patterning and regular draping to be honest. Regardless, here are my pants

My inspiration was a weird mixture of 50's pin-up, dark mori, and strega fashions. They were going to be shorter but I ran out of time to make adjustments so here's the final result

It's hard to see because the fabric is so dark but they do have regular side jean pockets as well as back pockets, and the garters have a button on the hem of each strap.
